First Voice and its members pay tribute to Cora Barclay Centre in South Australia, which is this year celebrating its 70th year of service to children who are deaf or hearing impaired and their families. The Centre began life as the South Australian Oral Pre-School Group on the 8th October 1945 and started from one mother’s vision to give her daughter who was deaf, a future where she could speak and communicate using oral methods.
